Nice to meet you,

HELLO.png

I’m glad you’re here!

im Sarah, 34 years old,

and i am the sole in-house designer for Aroma espresso bar.

In my last position at Aroma, I took on a completely new role where,

previously, everything had been handled by external vendors.

I was given the opportunity

to shape the role and its scope.

Essentially, I became a one-person design department

within the marketing department.

As the sole designer, I worked across a variety of areas,

including print productions, event projects that required

collaboration with production, PR, social media,

UX/UI design for different systems and more.

My responsibilities included making decisions regarding platform specifications,

such as Aroma’s newly designed website and the app, which required constant

rethinking and adaptation due to the dynamic nature of the business.

As a photographer. for example, I also handled independent photography

and production, including styling and editing.

Throughout my time at Aroma, many changes occurred in the work environment, both due to technological developments and external events like the pandemic and the war. These events affected sales strategies and customer engagement. For example, we developed and launched an ordering app, followed by self-order kiosks in all branches, a project accelerated during the pandemic. The work on the kiosks involved several days of shooting, defining the concept, production, design, programming, and more.

This project is ongoing and continues to evolve based on customer needs.

Over time, as I learned more about the brand and the company,

I gained a wealth of knowledge in various fields that at first glance

might seem unrelated but ultimately contributed to creating a cohesive product.
I successfully connected with all departments within the company—not just marketing—

which led to interesting and diverse collaborations.

This also allowed me, in my role, to look beyond just aesthetics and marketing,

but also to take a broader view, considering operations, the needs of branch staff,

interior and industrial designers, and many other aspects and perspectives.

The company also benefited from 100% loyalty to the system,

leading to smoother processes, better flow, and timely project completion.

During this time, I worked closely with interior designers on various

branch projects, as well as with industrial designers on product designs, packaging and more.

I believe one of my main strengths is the ability to manage and collaborate

with a wide range of stakeholders in a respectful, pleasant, and attentive manner,

while also offering my own ideas and input.

I excel in navigating various hierarchies and departments

with a positive spirit of understanding and listening.

I thrive in environments with people, constantly learning and evolving,

and I look forward to taking on new challenges, growing,

and continuing to contribute with my skills and experience.
